Treat Me Right. Poem by Mishack Mchunu

Treat Me Right.

I am humble
But I always stumble,
Far away from trouble
I still feel horrible.
I treat you like a man,
You make me fill less a woman.
I gave you my best,
You threw me your worst.
I gave you my soul until infinity,
In return I found eternal profanity.
My heart pumps no more blood
For it was shed and turned to mud
For once would you give me wings to fly like an eagle?
Purify me and make me your only angle!
