Meta Morphosis (RIP figure skating / hail and rain)
We are friends who planted
the miniature seed of a tree.
Slowly friendship springs
forth in every angle and degree.
A seed waiting so silently blind.
Its a pearl so unaware of the wind.
Birds poke their beaks to the
ground because its so hard to find.
Friendships are a seed that grows
faster when you are always kind.
I fall on my knees to
pray for a tree year after year.
If only I could learn patience
from a seed because it
searches for the light without any fear.
God will someday acknowledge my passionate
longing in every faked smile and salty tear.
The salt must dissipate until its able to disappear.
A real smile makes a friendship grow just
like sunshine on a friendly tree.
At night lightening turns on the tree
because it senses the arriving shadows.
A full grown tree has no power over
the striking forces of lightening.
Truth in friendships has a way of lighting up or fatally striking
I can hear it as I walk with my friend by the sky windows.
A tree full grown with love is so strong.
Yet it only takes thunder to make it grow wrong.
This tree is split but it twists in the agony of a song.
Someday the saw will help the lightening a long.
Yet I am in awe because this friendship can
last beyond a tree into the mysteries of heaven.
The lightening can't strike a true friendship
because we both know all is absolutely forgiven
