Tree Of Life Poem by Niels J Bakker

Tree Of Life

Rating: 5.0

The Tree of Life

Thoughts are dimm'd stars
Black as blasted blood
Spill'd with spectral sins

Emotions embraced by emptiness
Pack'd and chain'd within the soul
Unreveal'd to the outer skins

The upcoming seems the past
An unceasing black-paged novel
Read- but unvanish'd ever since

Through twilight's veil life might be smiling upon you
Sensed in stealth- mountains to be sledged
The sunset shadows seem to decay in time
Every one of them golden edged

Once the dew rises like unleashed spirits
And a universe of suppressed feelings brake free
A new branch of opportunity may awaken
Upon the resurrected dusted life-tree

I like your style, it is original while I can somehow relate myself to it.

@Maik The theme of this poem is 'Every dark cloud has a silver lining', maybe this explains it a little :)

This poem is as good as it is random. Well done.
