Trees Poem by Leslie Alexis

Trees

The trees are essential to life
They’re more valuable to humanity
Than diamonds and gold
And their true worth, cannot be sold.
Man has yet to realize
That trees are really
A God given prize.
Humble with beauty
And not selfish at all.
Trees were put here
To answer the call,
Humanity they feed
And give us air to breathe
Yet we destroy them
All In the name of greed.

Trees hold heaven at its helm.
We fail to exist without them.

To calm the gods of nature and all
Trees do their best, to answer the call.
