Tribute To 911-2001

You went to work as Americans this day so free,
With your careers and your families,
As you did for years so happily,
You worked so well for your country,
Until this day no one could dream,
Your lifes balance hung so delicately,
Into the towers each day you walked,
Riding the elevator to your floor you lived and talked.
A shock to my life is what happened that day,
Watching this tragedy I knelt down and I did pray.
In my heart I will never forget,
How tragedy struck,
How brave you were and lives that were saved.
How many great people lost thier lives in minutes you see,
The men who fought this enemy.
The ones who gave up thier lives for a soul to free.
It is because all of you in this country I believe.
We should never forget what happened this day,
And for thier families we will always pray.
