Tricked Part 2 Poem by Cynthia Gomez

Tricked Part 2

“You will die here tonight
So don’t even fight
You hurt my love
So I’m setting it right.”

They run they scream.
They wish it was all just a dream.
The pain the suffering,
“Kill me now” they plea.

Covered in blood he runs to find her.
Instead of her,
He finds him.
The one that cast him,
Because of only his sin.

“You disobeyed once again
For it you must pay the price.
I will cause you great pain,
No longer being nice.”

“You may not have her.
She will not live.
She will be with me.
My word I will give.”

“I did the sin!
Let me pay!
On earth,
Let her stay! ”

“If I let her,
No love will be shown.
She will be desolate and alone.
Only you to protect her.”

“I’ll take it, but what of my sin.”
“Oh yes the sin once again.
It you will pay for,
By becoming a mortal.

“You have it your way.
So take her and
Go away.”
