Tropical Woollybutt Poem by Christopher Tye

Tropical Woollybutt

Tropical Woollybutt

Tropical Woollybutt what a name for a gum tree,
Eucalyptus Minieta sounds so more refined,
Your brilliant orange flowers brightening up a winters day,
Your flowers and gum-nuts so familiar in the Northern Territory,
But seriously which comedian called you Woollybutt.
