Trudging The Path Poem by Daniel Erdner

Trudging The Path

I walk a different path
I live by a different set of rules
I can see with eyes that aren't my own
A lonely life but not alone
Holy Spirit you are my guide
I often neglect or try to hide
Alternating back to you I seek
Am I strong enough? I feel so weak
I know the right, I choose the wrong
To see this life the way I do
The path I choose has chosen few
In faith not sight I seek the Truth
The world will teach me something else
The world has lost its way
