True Dreams Poem by Paolo Mikel Moro

True Dreams

I see good things in my dreams
Calm lands across the river of purity
Golden sun rays of the treasured mornings
and a wonderful farewells of the sweet sunsets

I can never forget the bright stars during nights
How the air touches my skin so gently
How beautiful and peaceful it was
and How it feels to be with you alone

I can never forget how you look that day
your smiles were clean and innocent
we were so young and in love
with locked eyes and shivered spines

It was a perfect day for you and me
How I wish everyone could see!

But at the same time It hurts me the most
Knowing those dreams aren't real
Knowing those dreams were just a fantasy
Knowing that you will never be here for me.

But I still hope for the right world of reality
Where we could be happy together
and together we connect each of those happiness
and slowly we make those dreams come true.
