True Friends Poem by Dillon Crawford

True Friends

You thought you had it all
The friends, the money
There wasn’t anything you couldn’t have

But then the day comes
And yours friends were down
But you weren’t around

They blamed you for their lose
You tried to stay
They just pushed you away

You thought it was their pain
But now you know then truth
They never wanted you
It was your money
And their greed

But now you have true friends
And you know what it is like
But never shall you go
And just turn them down
For they have proved
To be your true friends
