True Happiness Poem by Leaking Pen

True Happiness

Makes me happy when I dream of the Sun,
Playing hide and seek from east to west.
An extra beat and its summer time down under
One less and we all suffer from winter's thunder.

Who are these marionettes that make me wonder?
Dancing in a trance then suddenly they cry.
Pull one string and it is winter fears,
Pull another and spring appears and clears.

What about the warmest heart that cheers?
For the summer of all summers
Does it fall in love too? The way I do?
True happiness forges one from two.

Happiness is not as fickle as a witch's brew
Or the last ripened fruit standing top of a tree.
All it takes few shakes from an autumn wind,
And it falls down while its scent is left behind.

No resistant in the filament's distance, I find
New fibre optic light turns on in an instant.
Happiness in my poem's paved my new path,
Like Einstein's formulating the perfect math.

True happiness in my mind finds its clear path,
Not in the heart as believed in days old.
Perfect union when love from the mind
Feeds the heart with patience in kind.

Whose heart has true happiness frame of mind?
And where does happiness come from?
And who forges its precious mould?
And who deserves its heart of gold?

With this ring I thee wed affirmation, behold
Two lovers manifest their true happiness.
And witness to the world and far beyond
Their joint corner stone for an eternal bond.

True happiness my poem's magic wand,
Bewitched Van Gogh to paint his starry skies.
No sadness found in it, or a sunken weight,
True happiness is present at my front gate.
