True Joy's In The Lord Poem by Dr John Celes

You feel the joy that's true
Throughout your life on earth,
That's clean like morning dew,
Bestowing dawn its mirth,
By walking with the Lord
As Holy Spirit guides
Your steps by Bible's Word,
Doing His Will, time glides.

For joy's a heaven's gift
To hearts and minds and souls,
That keeps life's boat adrift,
Despite its stormy roles,
Of those believing God,
And doing just His Will,
Sans fear and every rod,
Ascending up His Hill.

The Holy Spirit's fruit,
Tasty remains always,
Whose tree sends deepest root,
And forms a wider base,
As branches of faith strong
And leaves of hope appear,
Avoiding every wrong,
Blossoming righteous flower!
