True Love Poem by Summer Anderton

True Love

Rating: 5.0

Each breath she grows weaker and weaker
And the light grows brighter and stronger
The last thread of life
could hold her no longer

She lies there almost motionless
with nothing on her mind
except the last thing he said to her
and all shes leaving behind

i love you with all my heart
ill never let you go
each and every moment i spend with you
my love will only grow

He sat at her bedside
every second of every day
He held her hand and told her
that he needed her to stay

The monitors went silent
As he sat with her that day
before she left she told him
love me when im away

Days went by so slowly
he grieved for weeks to come
After she weakly left him
his life was so undone

He laid in bed
Thinking of his soon to be wife
When he decide that it was time
To take his own life
