True Love Poem by Lana May Hamlin

True Love

Rating: 0.5

I know I’m the last person you want to listen to
But listen up because what I’m going to say is all true
How can you walk away from something so strong
What happened, what went wrong?
You two are so perfect for each other
You’re going to have a hard time finding another
Take some time apart to figure it out
Whatever it takes, just don’t scream, don’t shout
Shan, you need Lewis just as much as he needs you
Deep down in your heart you know it’s true
Lewis, you’re dealing with a lot right now, we know
But don’t take it out on your beau
You bring out the best in one another, don’t hide
Take everything thrown your way in stride
You two share something amazing, that we rarely find
A love so strong to hold you together, a bind
So don’t let one fight bring it all down
Don’t let yourself walk around with a frown
Just make up and admit your wrong
Kiss and makeup and be strong
