True Self Poem by Guhapriyan V.D

True Self

Rating: 5.0

Who am I?

A child with never ending quest for finding joy, Nah

A young man in search of a land with no footprints, Nah

A poet who longs to kiss the wind than the beloved, Nah

An old folk seeking the purpose of his life, Nah

A puzzled person looking for his roots among the mystic men, Nah

A mad man seeking divinity in cosmos rather within, Nah

I am an ecstatic soul trying to get sober by having wine

And I belong nowhere.

A poet who longs to kiss the wind than the beloved, Nah A puzzled person looking for his roots among the mystic men A mad man seeking divinity When i read about the ecstatic soul, i thought u are in the process of becoming a mystic. Be a mystic philosopher, and a mystic singer. Thank you dear poet. tony

Who am I is a tough question to answer. I liked the way poem has stayed true to itself. Thanks for sharing.

This reminds me the saying, self realization is the best education.
