Trust Poem by Ibrar Ahmad Siddiqi

Trust

Trust is a word so strong.
It can be either right or wrong.
Feels like I've been wronged by negativity and doubt.
I stand by my words.
You can't fault that.
I' m like the rocks on a seashore,
a natural harbour if you will.
Weathering all storms to protect you from things ill.
My life has been tragic but I'm a battler with feelings.
I 'm a rock.
I'm weathered and still.
You'll be find there out there sheltering all I know with trust.
My words will never fall or rust.
I am the embodiment of trust.
Strong, firm and eternal.
In me, you will trust.
It's paradise or bust.
Lifting you from the darkness to the heavens to which you belong.
Flying higher than Icarus, my wings may fall apart.
I can finish things when all else fails.
Don't doubt me very, just trust.
