Trust At Once Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

If I can restore trust and rebuild
I shall try to over come any kind of guilt
I could have done it earlier
With strong belief and greeted thereafter

It is basic for any good relation
To lay a strong foundation
We had dreamed and imagined
It was thought over and well defined

Something well struck you with mistrust
The trust was torn apart by sudden blast
You decided to part with heavy heart
I had no option but to depart

I gave serious thought
And decided to be never caught
In between cross fire
I have now decided to face your ire

One thing is certain
I would love to maintain
Same confidence and love
I shall hold your hand and believe

I shall try to build bridge
To remove the gulf that was so wide
I shall restore faith and confidence
Promise with no occurrence of such incidence

Try to get rid of bad bruises
And feel strong not to curse
As I was honest and sincere
We can be same again here

There shall be no place for tears
As I shall offer you cover
Protect from any future ill luck
If that is likely or any time struck
