Trust deficit brings great strife
As it slowly eats away one’s life
Loss of faith, betrayal of trust
Bring extreme grief and disgust.

Mind gets fuddled with suspicion…
A clouded intellect and blurred vision
Cause immense doubts and confusion
Often leading to mental aberration…

To love and be used
To trust and be abused …
Result in great trust deficit
That renders positivity unfit...

Trust deficit between two nations
Leads to bitter confrontations
Or in modern times, cold wars
That leave permanent scars…

Transparent transactions,
Meaningful interactions,
Clarity in communications,
And sensible delineations
Between individuals and nations
Are the key fulcrums of resolve
On which faith and trust revolve…
