Truth Poem by Bilkis Begum

Telling you the truth about how I now feel about you,
Wasn't the same feelings that I've felt about you.
It is now different,
But it isn't my fault,
I tried to at least like you,
But it didn't seem to work.
So now that I've told you the truth that have really hurt alot,
But it can hurt more if I've told you a lie.
So telling you the truth was a really good thing to do,
But it wasn't meant for us to be,
So I really had to set you free.
