Truth Poem by Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi

Truth

None of you get me
None can understand
My face and form
Snowflakes melting
In storms.
An ember of youth
Ashen and gone.

Delve in deep
Listen to
What I speak
In the crystal
Of my tears
See reflections
Of pains and fears

I am a stream
Restless, clear
Fresh, pristine
You want a pond
Stagnant, murky
Mossy, spawned

In white noise
Of my breath
My past
And
My strengths.

In span
Of my wings
Memories
Threaded
In time's strings

Lies truth
Of my
Winters
Hot summers
Verdant springs

Peaks Piercing Clouds Touching Stars At Night those who love mountains snowmelt restless springs within peaks piercing clouds touching stars at night will not settle content for stagnant ponds in lowland swamps Copyright © Terence George Craddock Inspired by the poem 'Truth' by the poet Nalini Jyotsana Chaturvedi.
