Truth Poem by Kristy Artmann

Truth

Rating: 5.0

Who’s to know the truth that spirals from his lips?

One thing was declared to me and another was imparted to everyone else.

Who’s to say his words meant anything at all?

His heart’s intent was obscure and elusive.

His tongue is sliced in the middle.

His integrity is slim.

His acquaintance with commitment is imaginary.

Duplicity….
Chaos….
Dishonesty…

All desirable afterall?

Who’s to know the truth but God and him?
