Truth And Poetry Poem by Paul Hartal

Truth And Poetry

Rating: 5.0

Aristotle already noted
that poetic truths soar
to higher dimensions
than historical analysis does.
They transcend
the quantitative realm,
the objective world
of science.

Take, for example,
the self-evident
visionary idea
that all men and women
are created equal.
This declaration
does not represent
a scientific fact.

Instead,
it is a moral imperative;
a poetic truth
sailing in the higher spheres
of lofty verities.

Spirituality is nicely expressed, transcend the quantitative realm of the objective world of science. Thank you for sharing. This is my very favorite area in poetry.
