Truth Is His Name Poem by Aftab Alam

Truth Is His Name

Rating: 5.0

I was searching a man,
I found him nowhere—
Temple, Mosque, Church, Pagodas,
Synagogue—Everywhere—
I forgot his name—
Frustrated I went to a secluded place-
On the lap of nature-

Birds were taking bath on brook,
Flowers already taken bath with dew,
Sun was just peeping between the hills,
I shouted—Aftab, look at there—yonder,
Seeing all -so beautiful—It's wonder,
I remembered his name- truth
