Try Again Poem by Josephine Lauderdale

Try Again

Rating: 4.0

Stop singing to me
You might hit a note
My fingers are finding the rhythm

But I am not a singer

Alas I am listening...listening
Trying hard not to

Because if I do
I might believe

What I was told

Not knowing
Knocking against
My sweet
My true self
My love

I am sorry
You did not see
The
Me in me

We are still here

Defiantly draws on the emotions.
