Try Their Shoes

When saved and strong in Jesus Christ
Born of The Crimson Flow
Our lives may well be sacrificed
For those who’d fall below

For those still lost by Satan bound
Those blind to Heaven’s Way
Who could in Christ be safe and sound
If only we’d obey

If in their shoes we’d walk a while
Sampling life as these
Recalling then each personal trial
And times upon our knees

Through Jesus’ love God gave His Light
Revealing us The Truth
Giving us strength the will to fight
And grace to serve since youth

Now standing tall looking ahead
We’d see if wisdom’s yours
We too could now be walking dead
Still blind to Heaven’s doors

But praise our God for all His grace
For all His selfless love
We’ll leave one day this gruelling place
And rise to life above

Till then, we need to others turn
To neighbours in the dark
Who’s souls for Christ may truly burn
If we were Heaven’s spark

Come let’s ignite their hearts today
Lets be the source at hand
Let’s share God’s love lets show The Way
Into The Promised Land
