It seems like years
since you been gone
as I watched you
walk out the door
and I'm still trying
to keep myself
from falling apart
with all these nights
of spending alone
drowning in a feeling
trying to make it through
with a whisper of your name
blowing through the wind

Our love nothing now
but just wasted memories
of forgotten fantasies
trying to heal a broken heart
that wouldn't mend
counting all the tears
as they fall one by one
and hit the floor
seems like days of dieing
trying to forget you somehow
lying there waiting
to hear your voice on the phone
that never came
