It is late and the night is black
But I lie in bed wondering what it is I lack
I just want to spend a little time with you
Ditching everyone one in our crew
So we can do that thing we both long to do
I thought these last few days would bring something new
Little did I know that something new was you

I try to sleep so I can dream
To get out of this world and no longer scream
In my dreamland you are there
We both hold hands without a care
Our hearts we can now freely share
But then I wake and the dream is gone
The things I want are so very wrong
I wish this dream was real
Then this secret I would no longer bear

I hope your feelings have not changed
Because my writing this would be really lame
I want to keep this thing going on
Because even though the road will be long
The shame will be buried by the fun!
