Turmoil... Poem by njiri wambui

Turmoil...

Nimble branch upon the mighty tree
Faded petal on a jaded rose
Oh how totally they are so free
Till they day luck shall pose

Pose on their baffled selves
To think that variety could be a strength
When the wand strikes on these elves
In a world of giant's length

Length that they thought was theirs
Taken away in a quick and sudden strike
With no pain except that in there
That burns like flesh on a hot prick

A prick, that is life and its many wonders
continuance on a lenghty wide stretch
While still their hearts shall ponder
and to think of how to rid of these stench

Stench emuniating from all sides
In every of the ones we have to trust
Slowly betrayal sinks and crushed, our prides
In an abyss of emotional turmoil our minds thrust
