Turning Pages Poem by Jamie Fox

Turning Pages

Turning pages

Life is rough and being alone is going be tough.

I found a page missing from my book as I took a closer look,

It's time to turn the page as I begin to set the stage.

Building a life for two, was never easy to do.

Walking without you by my side, will be a lonely ride.

It's time to turn the page, my head is consumed by rage.

Life with you was nothing I thought it would be, the seed of love died with-in me.

Our love became a dying willow tree, now its time for us to be set free.

Its time to turn the page, I am going to build a new life at this day and age.

Life, love, and happiness have become nothing more than a shattered dream, all I wanted to do is scream.

Yelling to the top of my lungs the hardest thing I had to do, was trying to walk away from you.
