There is so much sadness to deal with each day
and too often it's hard to find right words to say
but so long as the love in your heart remains true
your friendships will always give strength to you.

When you feel that the trials are getting too much
all you need is a boost from a friend's gentle touch
to make sure you have faith and help you to believe
that there's nothing in the world you can't achieve.

With their love they can chase the sadness away
so your shining bright spirit is placed on display
and the frowns on your face can turn into smiles
spreading joy and happiness far across the miles.
