Twenty Six Angels Poem by Kelvin Owusu

Twenty Six Angels

Rating: 4.6

The news travelled fast
Imprinted in our minds
The screams and cries
as the world heard the gun blast
Twenty six lost, due to hatred's thoughts
Twenty six broken families
Shocked, the world was with what one man had stolen
Images of love and beauty tainted by evil
Twenty beautiful angels laid to rest
Twenty six broken families with holes in their chest
Twenty six beautiful angels laid to rest as their spirits
fly to sky's heaven where they now call home

Kelvin, you have captured the pain, the deepest sorrow and the greatest shock the world has ever heard of. This is a great solidarity entry for the bereaved families. Thanks a lot for writing this. You may visit the poem I wrote, Tears of Pain over Massacred Angels and Wolves Are Roaming around our Schools. Happy reading.
