Twilight Poem by G J Salgado

Twilight

Rating: 5.0

Disappearing into my own thoughts and wonders
Lost in the confessions I lost in the years behind me
Did little for the soul I became in the future
Savoring what was left of my insanity

I found my own destination without you
Denying my heart within lurking lies
Losing myself inside the illusion of truth
Waiting to live but wanting to die

We saved ourselves for the last time from the noose
Thunder Kissed in the Midnight Thunder, I was your Midnight Muse
