Twisted Poem by Andre Brown

Twisted

You're all I can think about,
no matter what I do,
I cannot deny my feelings for you,
I drift away,
with each glancing thought of your beautiful face,
to a place where nothing exists,
but me and you,
a dream come true,
if I could have one wish,
for one kiss,
there is nothing I wouldn't do,
my gift is my curse,
to love for better of worse,
are tears of joy different from a baby's cry,
to be or not to be,
to accept or deny,
it kills me to know I cannot change your mind,
now my last and only hope lies in the hands of time.
