Two Drunkards Welcoming The New Year Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Two Drunkards Welcoming The New Year

Taking daru, drunken to full,
I shall say, happy new year to you
And you, happy new year to me,
Shaking the hands,
Hugging and embracing,
I mean two drunkards
Speaking in capers,
Drunk to full
And fallen on the ground,
Under the open and starry skies,
Muttering and talking to stray dogs.
