Two Life Lessons Poem by Harlan Simantel

Two Life Lessons

I learned two lessons
A long time ago
From those near death -
Not yet their time to go.
What they saw and heard
Was written in a book*
About their 'passing over' -
A kind of tunnel they took.
Love others,
Said the Being of Light,
Let this advice
Remain in your sight.
And continue to learn,
He said,
For an interesting life
And a spirit well-fed.
Do these two
For a happier you.
