Two More Lonely People Poem by Aroura Colour

Two More Lonely People

Two more lonely people
Because our worlds couldn’t match.
And you ran off like the little boy you are.
No longer one love,
But two halves of a heart.

Your eyes, so angelic and childlike,
Your soul, bright and careful.
Times of being carefree and wild.
The moments when I fell in love with you.
Great is my love for you and still will be,
But for now, there is no road for you and me.

Two more lonely souls,
Because we couldn’t make it through the battle,
Whisked away by some other maiden.
No longer one love,
But two halves of a heart.

Your smile, it leaves me in a trance.
Your humor, leaves my ribs in a tolerable pain
The times of being carefree and wild
Those moments when everything seemed right.
My love for you is great,
But for now, there is no road for you and me.

Now my heart stands alone,
With a scar only you can mend.
We are no longer one love,
But two halves of a whole.
