Two Shores Meeting… Poem by Mark Heathcote

Two Shores Meeting…

The night brings miracles to you and me
Parched lips, like two shores, meeting
For a first and last time, beg for the sea.

Tectonic plates - our bodies collide
Everything around us, nature mirroring
Provides and revives
Remoulds recharged, turning to matricide.
