Two Souls Poem by sarah sarah

Two Souls

Rating: 2.8

Two souls in secret love entwined
In silent rendezvous they meet
To differed companies confined
Their love professed in ways discreet
While lovers meet in sweet embrace
And lip to lip for all to see
To them a single fleeting gaze
Is sweet a kiss as kisses be
So, hidden deep from prying eyes
As days go by their love remains
Till one day he with no goodbye
Leaves, never to return again
And now she sits and wonders still
Was his love play of mind or true?
But over plain and sea and hill
Her silent lover wonders too
