Two Thoughts Of A Carnivore



I will not eat an egg
That I know
Comes from a hen
That spends its life
In a cage.
For a pig
I have a thought too:
I believe it can count to two.

douglas, i like the alternative title much better. i gotta look at another one of your poems.....thankfully, they are not long like some of mine are. bri we do buy cagefree eggs (or at least the hens are cagefree) .
