Two Upon Tombs Poem by Talisa Dee Whitmore

Two Upon Tombs

They were never meant to be
Their families felt much hate
They were rivals from the start
But stayed true to their heart

Death is the price they paid
For rising to love from hate
They were never meant to be
But they rose above what they saw

I can't believe what I see
They were never meant to be
Their love made them die
And in these tombs is where they lie
