Two Worlds Poem by Jessie M. Combs

Two Worlds

Rating: 4.5

Man thinks he's the leader,
but behind every man you see. Is a woman who supported,
in all he came to be. He rose on the wings of an eagle,
but he forgot the wind beneath. She is the wind beneath his wings,
but he follows every wind that blows. She swings between heaven and earth,
with her eyes on her goal. She lives in two exalted worlds,
you see - heaven and earth. She swings between them,
both worlds she knows. She's the interpreter of God's Kingdom,
the exalted world above. She's at home in both worlds,
she's at home in God's love.
