Ultimatum Poem by Herbert Nehrlich

Ultimatum

I threw a dart which had
attached an ultimatum.
Three days in all, and
not an hour more.
But when the sun had set
a revelation dawned,
the crucial answer was,
dear friend in need,
just blowing in the wind.
