Unbalanced Scale Poem by Katz Haus

Unbalanced Scale

I check a profile
I write a poem
I have a dream,
flashbacks.

This road.
that turn,
a vintage song
provoke memories.

Like a poison
inside me
that won't pass,
images linger...

Not for him.
I realize
he blithely
continues;

I just don't weigh that heavily on his mind.
