When I first met you
I wanted to run
And hide my emotions
But for some reason
You saw right through me
And as you grabbed me by the hand
And looked into my eyes
I knew right then
No matter what
You weren't going to run
And I knew everything would be ok
But then a fear
Deep within me
Got me wondering
Will he be like the rest?
But as soon as you saw
That I was getting scared
You let me know
You'd always be here
So now here we are
Standing side by side
You holding me close
Saying everything will be alright
