Unborn Female Soul Poem by Leena Ajay Pimple

Unborn Female Soul

Rating: 5.0

I have traveled universe and beyond
It was your positive vibrations that made me respond
From the very beginning I could feel a special bond
I wanted to be born

It was a moment to rejoice
I finally made my choice
It has to be your womb
Like flash I was in their, and wanted to bloom

At first it felt very dark inside
But did not worry as you were always there by my side
The water inside made me feel like a big joyride
It's just like a new playroom were I currently reside

I could hear my own heart beat
And to see with my own eyes was simply a treat
I could move my hands and feet
And with my little fingers I could feel your body heat

I was living inside you
And was watching the whole world around and knew
That I had to learn all the things that you wanted me to do
I promise you I will never disappoint you

Just one night
It felt very uptight
Some monster came inside
And cut the cord and I died

Deep inside your womb I felt helpless
This is an act of cruelness
The doctor who did to you and me is heartless
Leaving you in deep pain and speechless

Just because I am female fetus
The doctor killed me and made you breathless
For them it's just earning bucks, a good business
Imagine for the mother who is left childless

I want to be born again
I will wait for you to be ready again

Just like a soul……….
I am going to take birth and accomplish all our goals

Just like a team…….
We will show the world that all girls are supreme

Just like a sun beam…….
I wanted to take birth again and scream

Just like a fresh airstream……
I wanted to be part of all your dreams

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I want to dedicate this to all the unborn female fetuses.

A 2005 study estimated that over 90 million females were 'missing' from the expected population in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, India, Pakistan, South Korea and Taiwan alone, and suggested that sex-selective abortion plays a role in this deficit. India's 2011 census shows a serious decline in the number of girls under the age of seven - activists believe eight million female fetuses may have been aborted between 2001 and 2011.
