Unbound Hands Poem by Holly Jamestone

Unbound Hands

Haunting, evil on my back
Leave me be from your attack
Tainted keyhole filled with hate
Thoughts of death hard to abate
Glaring, daring, I will flee
Any thoughts you plant in me
Poison doth your venom creep
Strangled heart and memories weep
Ugly, taunting, black despair
At my keyhole don’t you dare
I denounce your cruel attack
Unbound hands upon trains’ track
Devil tries to beckon me
At his whim I shall not be
I choose life o’er suicide
Leave me be now, Mr. Hyde
You’re a coward in the cold
Stench, repulsion, dust and mold
Cloaked in darkness you I loathe
Common sense you can’t unclothe
I denounce your cruel attack
Unbound hands upon trains’ track
