Uncompleted Knee

Things'll never be straighter when you practice the art of the bender
nor will life be separated into elemental vibes when near a blender
Thoroughfares frighten a child who's formerly a lonely dead-ender
Let's wetback silly while listening to the wetback Freddy F. Fender
He made it Montezuma's revenge the true nature of his iffy gender
as his greasy bits & undulating flaps were borrowed from a lender

Poet's Notes about The Poem

An obscene plea created to lead: it's key to keenly bleed the henbane seed from your right-handed, upper three fingers left that let me down because you are a trapped-in-a-tree amputee breed, quaffing ginseng tea & eating waxy seaweed ceded by a treed, reed-feeding, bean-needing, teen-aged queen bee unfreed that was greeted serenely, as seen seated upon your pre-amputated, uncompleted knee.

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

Young Love lies sleeping
In May-time of the year,
Among the lilies,
Lapped in the tender light:
White lambs come grazing,
White doves come building there:
