Under A Spring Moon Poem by Louise Marie DelSanto

Under A Spring Moon

I fell asleep under a Spring moon
like a princess with golden dreams
in her heart, with soft blankets
and spaces through which fuzzy
bunnies ran and escaped -
a Tapestry coat and a Dapple horse
to ride away into the night

When the morning arrived,
I became like a flower,
I turned to the sun
and came back to my memory of
a thousand reasons for loving you

I took a breath,
and you were there
swept by shadowy dreams,
and my restless fascination,
sounds breaking the stillness,
gifting part of my life,
love, i knew all along.
