Under The Deep Ocean Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Under The Deep Ocean

A little tadpole swam into your river and,
It became an Island;
The Island expanded and it became a human being;
And the human being grew up to become a Nation!
The Nation went to war and it was conquered,
And today, its people are buried under the deep ocean like Atlantis.

Pole, tadpole!
Before the foundation of the world,
The Creator knew us;
From the righteous pleasure of His Plan with,
The flair of power to make us what we are today.

Air flair!
I am an ambassador of poetry in chains;
And, i am with much words like my wounds of my pain! !
But, i need a train in the rain to reach out to you with my brain,

Brain, drain!
Like the prayers against spiritual forces to make my way through;
Both on earth and to the heavens! !
For, our rewards are according to our works on this earth like,
The little tadpole.

Profound... I especially liked the lines..... 'And the human being grrew up to become a Nation: The Nation went to war and it was conquered, Today its people are buried under the deep ocean like Atlantis.' Gives an image that is so soulful....Like our souls have mounted on horses and leaving for a war... I am intrigued by your genius... It amuses me. Thank you for your work...proceed diligent friend.
