+ Under The Fig Tree (Chapter Iii)

The double cross

In the garden he was tormented bathe fear
Born of a woman; nature’s passion to bear
At the pillar he was tortured and shamed
Pierce the flesh –to kill the spirit of the damned
Thorny grass hailed him; the divine king
Confrontation of what is folly, demonic sting
He was forced to carry death, the cross
Suffering servant against the race of truce
Nails marked him: philosophy; theology
Division of them; across the mimic history
